I have not finished reading A Bigger Table but would like to comment anyways. Last evening my town hosted a Pride Picnic on our Town Common. Of course I was there in a couple of capacities, first in love and support of my gay daughter and her wife; second as an officer of our Historical Society showing community support: and third becasue Love is Love is one of my core beliefs. I wore my recently purchase , I will always stand on the side of love tee shirt recently purchased from Pavlovitz's designs, which generated lots and lots of compliments and "where did you get that great shirt?" questions. I proudly told them and became a walking talking commercial for John Pavlovitz everything. As I was talking to a woman who was a lector with me at one of our local Catholic Parishes we started talking about books and I mentioned A Bigger Table. She said, Oh wow, I read that and loved it. I borrowed it from Michelle, (Michelle Bagby is our local Congregational Church pastor) and had to return it before I finished so I bought my own copy. We then proceeded to discuss. So last evening, in Norwood Massachusetts, at our Pride Picnic, John Pavlovitz, his books and apparel, was present and applauded!! Thank you.
